OrthoMed Staffing/OMS Medical Billing Privacy Policy
Purpose
This policy outlines how OrthoMed Anesthesia collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information, including phone numbers used for Short Message Service (SMS) communications.
1. Information Collection. The Company may collect the following types of information:

Personal contact information provided by employees when opting for SMS messaging

Phone numbers obtained through contact forms, verbal consent, or written consent forms

Communication preferences and opt-in status

Message delivery and response data for service improvement 
2. Use of Information. The information collected may be used for:

Communicating with employees in a conversational style, including via SMS (for those who have opted in) 
- 
Providing timely updates and important company notifications 
- 
Delivering customer service and support assistance 
- 
Maintaining records of communication preferences and consent status 
3. SMS Consent and Compliance

SMS Opt-In Requirement: Employees who provide phone numbers for SMS communications must actively opt in by checking a designated checkbox on the company's contact survey, providing verbal consent, or completing a consent form. By completing one of these options, employees consent to receive text messages related to company communications at the phone number provided. Message frequency may vary, and standard data and messaging rates may apply.

Data Protection: The Company does not share, sell, rent, or trade SMS opt-in phone numbers with third parties or affiliate companies for marketing purposes. All phone numbers are stored securely and used solely for authorized company communications.

Opt-Out Process: Employees may opt-out of SMS messaging at any time by replying "STOP" to any message received from the Company. Once opted out, no further SMS communications will be sent unless the employee re-enrolls by replying "START".

Support: For assistance, employees may text "HELP" at any time to a Company number to receive information regarding privacy policies and SMS services. 
4. Message Frequency and Fees
The estimated SMS frequency is approximately 10 messages per month on average, though this may vary based on business needs and seasonal communications. Standard carrier data and messaging rates apply as determined by the employee's mobile service provider.
5. Data Security and Retention
The Company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. SMS-related data is retained only as long as necessary for business purposes and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
